Overview

Founder of Sales Lab – which offers a range of sales and marketing solutions to SMEs, on an all-island basis, as well as targeting export markets. Since 2014 I have assisted 30 SMEs (15 Northern Ireland companies) from industries which include; Renewable Energy, Software, Food, Skincare, Construction, Craft Joinery, Services, Personal Security.

I use a process that works, and tailor it to the market and product that I am looking to develop. The emphasis is on the tangible business benefit that the company owner requires. This is typically;

  • Generating sales meetings with key buyers in target companies. Having first identified, emailed, telephoned, and determined the level of interest in the product being sold.
  • Researching the potential market and sharing market knowledge – delivering a list of target companies and contact details for the key decision makers. Identifying and targeting distribution firms to assist with market entry. Sharing knowledge gained; problems the product is solving, where is the market, are there barriers to entry?

I have a proven ability to reach and communicate with decision makers across a wide variety of industries. Previously my experience was gained working in multi-national organisations. As a senior manager specialising in start-up ventures for e-commerce and high volume transactional businesses. I have experience in global roles as supplier and customer, and in negotiating and managing large value contracts.
