Open innovation webinars

As part of the All-island innovation programme, InterTradeIreland has delivered a series of webinars on ‘open innovation’, offering practical advice to SMEs on how to use innovation as a means to opportunity.

During times of uncertainty, levels of innovation can decline. For many companies, the Covid-19 pandemic has simply been a time to survive - but as we move into the phase of recovery, innovation is more important than ever. As part of the All-island innovation programme, InterTradeIreland has delivered a series of webinars on ‘open innovation’, offering practical advice to SMEs on how to use innovation as a means to opportunity.

The webinar series offers direct access to national and international ‘thought leaders’ in the area of open innovation. Including Dr George Tsekouras, Dr John Bessant, Professor Stephen Roper and Henry Chessborough who coined the phrase ‘open innovation’.

The events have been hosted by four of the island’s most prestigious business schools and each webinar shares practical advice for SMEs, as well as insight into how crisis innovation is unfolding at home and further afield.
